Speilberg Street Park

Part of the McDowall Reserve, this long park is linked via the Cabbage Tree Creek shared bikeway which follows the creek west. Very popular with early morning walkers using the various path options over and around the creek. Picnic shelters and children's play area and shaded seating. It is possible to follow the bikeway for a number of kilometers from here.

Was surprisingly good, the footpath is a great walking/running track along the creek. It feels like you've stepped out of the city and into the bush.

Good place to start a lovely five km walk down cabbage tree creek, and then five back on the other bank. Saw three wallabies and two turtles

Great basketball court. the double rim is quite annoying though and there is no corner three point line
