Personally my favourite place to go between trips if I want a quiet place to sit and read undisturbed by traffic noises, people and the usual hustle that you usually find at parks that aren't off the beaten track. Lovely place to go and incredibly well maintained. Was also caught out one time and happened to discover they have very well kept amenities!
Love it
Great place for bird watching, trail running and general hiking on the fire trails. Wallabies can been seen in the gullies.nExcellent world class mountain bike trails. Great example of how conservation and recreation can be partnered together.
Clean toilets, beautiful pristine walking tracks and coal bbq
Pleasant place for bushwalk, mountain biking is also an option.
