Well worth a stop on your way through Cardwell! You are welcomed in to view a small keeping place packed with information and artifacts from the regional aboriginal groups, then can view and purchase locally made art including woven baskets, handmade jewelry, boomerangs, ceramics, art prints and more. Support local artisans!
Very interesting, friendly reception and we received good explanation in the museum, as well as in the plant nursery... worth to go take a look and learn about local history
Such a pity we couldn't access everything they have to offer over the Easter weekend: so much traffic going past too. Thank you to the Op Shop who decided to.open to give visitors a small break and loads of hospitality.
