Sleepy Hollow Campground

We arrived about 4pm, no one at the office. Called the number that was posted on the door, 4 or 5 times there was no answer. We decided to drive through the camp ground and choose a tent site, we returned to the office still no one there. We would have self registered but no envelopes. We saw a guy and Asked if he knew who worked at this campground and it was the owners son, great! Advised him we wanted to camp but no one will answer the phone , he advised us to pick a site, we did and set up our tent.. about an hour and half later a guy told us we could not camp at this site because it was reserved. I couldn’t believe we set up all out tenting gear etc and now he wanted us to move.. he did apologize but was a very poorly run campground.. we were moved to the worst site there was and the people who reserved the original site didn’t even show up.. not a well maintained campground, dead trees grass not cut and uses brake drums as fire pits, my advice, keep moving....

Good place to camp and bring your family.

Been camping here every year for many years owners are super nice and camp site is clean and quiet. Bathrooms are clean with running water. I love it there!

We paid for two nights but vacated the next morning. Definitely the “Getto” of campgrounds Low power voltage and only 120v service sucked. Not to mention the hideous upkeep/maintenance of how their services are kept The heavy smell of pot that night and the next morning was delightful for my kids to experience.

Very cozy small campground! Fully serviced and non serviced for tenting. Flush toilets pretty clean, showers $3 no time limit. Even has washer/dryer. Owner is a little off could come out as rude but as you speak more to him he’s very nice! It’s very quiet.. couple of campers stying up making bit of noise but nothing to crazy. Every so often there would be a breeze with a very bad sewer smell through the day. Not sure if it was our location or the entire campground! I would recommend this place!
