Very friendly owner greeted us, allowed our friends to visit as long as they registered and the cleanest washrooms I have ever seen. It was a delight staying here. I think our neighbours were long time stays and they were most accomodating lifting their awning for us to open the slide. Delightful people.
Spent a night tenting the last week of September. Since they were not busy we got a powered RV site rather than a space in the tenting area. The park is clean and well maintained.
It is right off the Trans Canada so the traffic noise is a lot but manageable. I don't think the tenting area is great if it was the only option for us as its just a general area where you pitch your tent with other people.
We will likely be back if we are doing off season tenting.
We went arrived on August 1 for a one week stay. The campsite is located on a very busy highway. It's quite loud on the weekend. However, it's between towns and allows for easy access to leave.
The campsite is small and tight for RVs. There's about a picnic table size space between RVs. There's a swingset and basketball net on the site.
The owner is friendly and talkative. We are allowed two dogs. However, dogs are not allowed to potty on the grass in the campground, but the gravel road. We took our dogs to potty at the large grass parking lot.
Had a great few nights here. Great location- close to our family in the area and all amenities. Carol was helpful and everything we needed was provided.
We arrived with our 25 ft 5th wheel and truck, (you will have to park you truck a block away if you being a tt or fifth wheel)and the owner seemed attentive and brought us to our site. I had my Mom and Dad over for a family dinner, shortly an RV pulled in beside us and started their generator and blew exhaust in our face the whole night, it was LOUD, my Mom and Dad both started getting a headache and left 45 mins after getting here because we couldn't hear each other speak and they felt ill. It seemed like a well controlled campsite but they don't care about your stay just their money and policies, don't expect help if you have anything go wrong.
