The campground is located conveniently across from the beach and a playground. Price per night is reasonable compared to other camping sites. There is a washroom with showers available for a small cost. I believe $1 will give you 3-5 minutes depending which stall you use. Be careful though as these showers have been known to eat your money and good luck trying to get your money back from the campsite owners without making you feel like a liar. The grumpy old man who sits at the front most of the day watching everyone come in and out is quite rude and definitely needs to learn some people skills as he definitely does not make you feel welcome. The tables provided are definetely not sturdy as My wife and son were almost crushed once another family member got up off the table. Luckily quick reflexes saved the day, otherwise I was ready to tear a strip off of the campsite owners. I think this campsite would be number one on the list with better management. it's apparent that none of the money collected goes back into the site to make it better and more enjoyable for the guests. Would probably recommend as a last resort as it is usually half empty most of the time anyways for obvious reasons.

Our family has been going to this campground every July for 28 years. Many.of our friends come back every year as well and it is the high point of our year. The owners are a tight knit family and encourage family bookings. They keep a firm grip on the campground and rowdies are dealt with firmly. It is close to Skaha beach, the marina and a large park with waterpark. The bathrooms are kept spotlessly clean. Highly recommended for families!!

Sites are gravel with some grass, the roadways are paved. Washrooms are large and as others have said there is a key code to keep unwanted folks out. The town banned open fires so you need a fire bowl on propane, there are a couple of fire pits on Skaha lake on the beach, good luck with with that. There is no play structure on site, but there is one across the road in Skaha park. When we came in late August there was hardly any one here, but all the other sites were booked up.

Great shower temp. and pressure. Clean bathrooms. Clean campground. Owner is fantastic and her staff is friendly. Right across the street from the lake. Great experience.

The lots are cozy without any dividers between, but they're clean, as are the bathrooms and laundry room. Showers and laundry cost loonies, but the location is just a few minutes walk to Skaha beach, which is a huge plus! It's also a short drive to the town center where there are plenty of malls, restaurants, and amenities.
