Barefoot Beach Resort

We stayed there a couple years ago and we really enjoyed it. The place was clean and well maintained. There are little boutique shops to check out along with the safe access under the highway to the private beach. There is a nice little restaurant and winery close by as well. I would definitely recommend this place for your next vacation!

Our summer was made by our girls trip at Barefoot! We stayed right on the beach in "Gordy's Beach House" Yurt - RIGHT on the Beach of Lake Skaha! Our full in suite kitchen made it super fun and handy to make beautiful snacks and meals while we played on the private (and wonderfully maintained) beach.. ALL day. Between paddle boarding, beach yoga, wine on the deck, and unobstructed sunset views every evening - this resort has become our new sweet spot for our annual girls trip. This resort is the perfect Canadian GLAMping we hoped for!

I do not have enough good things to say about this resort. The location is the first thing that comes to mind- you are staying minutes from a private beach where you can bask in the Okanagan sun. The yurts are just the right size and give you that home away from home feel, not to mention the year round tenants make you feel like family. Every detail inside the yurts is top notch and makes your stay easy and care free, as a vacation should be!

My wife and I had our first stay here over the summer. Well maintained property with impressive and enjoyable private beach. Next year we will be selecting a barefoot Yurt that is right on the beach for coffee and sunrise right on the water. Looking forward to it! Great stay.

We are full time RVers at Barefoot Beach Resort going on three years now! We love our private yard with the big beautiful shade trees and green grass!! The golf course Is so close that we can ride there on our golf cart! Access to Skaha Beach is so convenient also on the golf cart!! It’s a clean and quiet, and a great place to socialize as well!!
