A great little private campground! We had a nice site with a view of the little bay for our electric tent. It had clean bathrooms, pay showers (4 quarters=7 min, and you must have four quarters - learned that the hard way!), laundry facilities, outdoor sink for dishes, and friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend for those on their way to or from Cape Breton and beyond!

We had the pleasure of a one night stopover at the Linwood Campground and it surpassed our expectations! The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and so well kept. The scenery looking out over the hill is a perfect spot for morning coffee! The bathroom was immaculate and the owner was very friendly and it will be a pleasure to go back!

It’s a lovely campground, but you can hear quite a bit of highway noise through tent walls, and one of the locals decided to run his ATV without a muffler a few times during the night on a Thursday! The facilities are decent, offering clean showers and toilets, and they offer wifi with your site. I’d have given it another star but for the loss of sleep due to the highway and the ATV idiot.

Thght it was very beautiful and well maintained.They also followed Covid protocol.
