This was the worst campground we have ever been to. We picked this site last year as it was close to Granby Zoo and you got a discounted rate to the zoo from staying here. The regulars there were extremely rude and unfriendly. Our site was small and right beside a permanent trailer resident. We felt like we were camping in someone's front yard! On top of it our fire pit, picnic table and wood was stolen from our site when we were at the zoo!!! The bathrooms are disgusting and you have to pay for a shower. We would never recommend this place to anyone and would NEVER return!

The campsite is well located for a visit to the zoo which is nearby. On the other hand, you will have to go through the reception of the campsite to be greeted by the owner who does not have an ounce of diplomacy to tell you the rules of the place. We have to buy the wood on the spot which was delivered to us only when we called back around 6.30 p.m. when we had to pay for it on arrival. Also it seems to me that in 2020 there are simple reservation confirmation systems by email. and even draw up an invoice for the rental of land. No Wifi and some places relatively small. On the other hand, if you have to do with the owner, he is very pleasant and accommodating.

The photos of fire trucks, farm animals, canteen restaurants, billboards, service areas and many others are totally out of date. If you book by relying on these images, you might be very disappointed.
