This was a surprise!! I do most of my rentals from budget or Enterprise and I've never used U-Haul except for back in the day when I used to rent trailers Exceptionally nice easy to get along with people if you're doing a short-haul I don't think there's anything cheaper $20 plus kilometres used and gas I certainly wouldn't go to Toronto $$ but for short hauls 😀 U-Haul is where I will do all my business

I rented a 15 foot truck, and while in use, I left the emergency lights on for one hour...when I tried to start the vehicle, the battery was dead. After I called them to see if I could get some assistance, the manager told me it was common to burn out the battery if you leave the emergency lights on...that's a lie. Only a battery with low life and poor maintenance would that be the case. A 12 volt battery can last hours with car lights on, not to mention emergency lights. I wasted an additional two hours of my time trying to get a friend/family to boost the truck. Not only did the manager not help at all, he provided no assistance of any kind, blaming me and telling me I should call a mechanic and pay for it myself. On top of all that, when I finally got back there, he blamed me in front of the next customer(who was waiting) for being late! He fully charged me and did not apologize once. Extremely unprofessional, I would avoid at all cost.

Very nice person, Gerald. He was helpful and very polite. There were some delays for the pickup which was the whole uhaul system's problem, but he did his best. Very nice.
