Bear Lake Campground

Went out for a day use camp fire and relax. It was perfect... Just bring some bug spray!

Terrible place. Went way downhill since previous caretakers. Dayuse area is pretty much trashed not taken care of and is absolutely disgusting. Used to be a beautiful place to go now you can’t even walk around it’s so messy and uncared for. Caretakers are terrible and will follow you around.

Very friendly and helpful onsite management, but outhouse toilets are bit disgusting and should be replaced and upgraded. The lake can not be swam in.....not their fault of course, but that takes away from being at the lake.

Management is friendly enough. Location on lake is nice. Problem is lack of rules about parking your fifth wheel parallel to the lake. Doing so, of course, blocks everyone's view. And if everyone does it you can't see the lake from your campfire. Also gas generators are permitted making me wonder what's different than camping behind McDonald's.

This camping area was ok. Very out in the open though. Ideal for people with camper trailers or motor homes. The lake is beautiful, the area is clean and the staff are wonderful and caring. They also offer free firewood.
