The owners of this hotel are the best kind of people this world has!!! My dad had stayed there for some time and unfortunately passed away. They cleared the bill for us and I couldn’t be most thankful! Hands down amazing hotel!!!

A crackhead place. Worse place you will find in town. STAY AWAY! Unsafe! You and your belongings are in great danger here.

Update: As of September 1st, 2018 this has transitioned from being a hotel into Low-Income Housing on behalf of the Canadian Mental Health Association. They have greatly improved the resident list and have made or in the process of making the needed renovations to the facility. Thankful they have taken over and grateful to have been staying here for as long as I have while it was a Hotel, now I'm finally able to official call it my home! -------------- OLD REVIEW BELOW ------------- It's shelter. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Cheapest in GP and the only place that will accept you "undocumented", so if you've lost your ID you have no other choices. However I've seen a few children come in with families during my stay here, and maybe they were in a bind with NO WHERE else to stay, [it is the holidays after all] but I highly advise against bringing anyone here under the age of 15. Please also talk to your kids about what to expect here (read previous reviews). It really bothered me to hear children's voices running through the "halls" here, because it's always usually girls screaming for attention or guys yelling in anger, doors slamming or police sirens. My room was clean and there is surprisingly a housekeeping service for the rate being so cheap. There is local phone, free WiFi and cable as well. Microwave and mini fridge also in room.
