Tunnel Mountain Campground

It's good for people who have trailers and want to camp in the pure nature.

We had a great time at the campground for three nights. Very well setup, reasonable space at each campsite. Because you can pick your own spot, I would recommend a site in Trailer Court 2, with a number in the low 00's (100-110, 200-210, etc), which puts you near the entrance. That means you are close to the evening program (which are a mix of interesting for adults and geared toward kids) as well as the shuttles. Because parking is challenging downtown, I would recommend taking the shuttles. They are free on your way into town, and only $2 per adult or $1 per kid to come back. Much easier that circling for parking.

The trailer court sites are anything but. they are well landscape with lots of beautiful large pine trees in between each isle. Every time I needed anything everyone here in Banff has been very kind. Wonderful wonderful place to visit. I had the luxury of buying water electric and sewer this time which made my camping experience really much better.

One of our favorite places to stay! Easy access for any size of RV. Full hookups and quiet. We have always had a restful sleep here. Very close to all activities. Easy access to he town by truck, car or walking.

Clean, mainly because it has to be due go wildlife. Services are available but site are small. Pull through sites, don't leave much room for even the picnic table that is there. Bus will take you to the town site for free to save you from trying to find someplace to park. $2for a return trip.
