Site was great and well maintained beware that the county does the poorest job of maintaining the gravel road to it. It will beat the hell out of your ball joints. Love the site, won't return because of the road conditions to it.

Nice campground. Large campsites with private fire pits and tables. Pretty clean pit toilets; bear lockers. The lake nearby is good for swimming and paddling when it's hot, although the beaches are a bit crowded. The E Loop is the best one in terms of quietness.

Very pretty and quiet place to camp. Just be careful for the COWS at night time. Woke us up at 1:30am walking and rubbing against our tents. Ofcourse we were scared because we didn't know what it was but a relief to see 8 HUGE cows in the morning roaming around empty camp sites. No idea where these cows came from.......

Beautiful little lake and excellent tenting sites... flat ground with lots of tree cover. It looses a star because the campground managers do not come around with wood and only sell it from 4-5 and 7-830pm. It gets very congested in the managers area during the firewood sale hours. So don't burn all your wood at night if you want a breakfast or lunch fire the next day. Cows may wonder through your campsite

An example of what you get when a 3rd party runs a provincial campsite. The operators were only interested in ensuring you had a permit and giving you the opportunity to buy their overpriced wood bundles. Only one sanitizer dispenser at the washrooms was stocked, and was empty by the end of the weekend. Parties were constant, loud, and ran into the early morning. Drunk drivers did loops of the campsite with their loud trucks throughout the night. Lovely location, but zero maintenance or enforcement made the visit far from a peaceful camping trip.
