Kananaskis Interlakes Campground

The views are stunning. Nice and quiet campground. The people paying and leaving tents for a week to only come for the weekend to keep prime spots is the worst. I know it's legal, but I stayed midweek and could've had a lake view spot but it was occupied by a lone tent and not one person. Not my favourite practice.

Amazing campsite. Been here for the second time and will be back next year.

Clean. Large spaces for RV or tent. Beautiful trees between the camp spaces.

The views are spectacular and there's lots of trails in the area (not directly accessible from camp). There's not many water pumps and the water is not drinking safe. Canyon dump station solves that problem. I wish Alberta parks did not allow the placement of a tent to hold a spot... There were several spots ruined for everyone else by an empty tent holding the spot for days on end. Popular spot, so expect a lot of "are you leaving?" questions, like a lot. We ended up putting a sign on our post indicating we were not leaving just to shut them up. Despite the issues, with the lake and the views, I would camp here again for sure... Assuming I can get a spot again.
