Alert First-Aid Inc.

I took my CPR/First Aid Course a couple of weeks ago. I have NEVER been treated so badly by an instructor before in my life! She kept calling out/picking on me in front of everyone. At one point she even yelled at me because I accidentally stopped what I was doing while she started addressing the class about something so I was naturally giving my full attention...sorry for not being able to multitask. She seemed to somehow remember everyone's name except for mine...well actually she pretended to not remember mine when she actually did after a minute. In the end she handed out our multiple choice test but some of the books didn't have the proper questions. Mine was one of them, so she goes around the class and collects those that didn't have them. She glanced at my desk and just skipped me. When she came back to give out the proper books, I told her that I needed one and she says "oh, but you have a book already" and as I was trying to tell her that it was the wrong book, she just starts ignoring me, walking away. Luckily the person sitting beside me got her attention for me. I also think it's strange that it takes 5-10 business days to get your certificate e-mailed to you when there's only 9 people taking the course that day when usually it only takes a second to get it done in person when there's 15 people on a "regular" day. Unbelievable, next time I will be attending a place that treats me like a human being rather than an animal!

The instructor, Holly was very knowledgeable. She kept the course fast paced & fun. I found the long narrow dark dusty hallway wasn't the best first impression and the place was kind of disheveled looking and cluttered with boxes. Never the less I would consider Alert First-Aid again.

Visited their storefront to buy first-aid kids for our business and Dave and the woman working there were beyond helpful and knowledgeable. I would 10/10 recommend them for any first aid/PPE needs!!

Easy registration and straightforward course, done well in Covid times too.

Took standard first aid with Amber and it was a great experience! Very engaging and with much more hands on practice than other FACs I’ve taken. Amber was very knowledgeable and trustworthy! She always came up with fun and creative scenarios for our simulations which made the course more enjoyable.
