The Beer store is ripping people off when they return their empties. They only give 5c on a 10c deposit claiming "fees". The Recycling Regulation prescribes deposit-refund requirements for sellers of containers. All retailers selling beverage containers are to collect beverage container deposits at the point of sale and pay refunds for redeemed containers of the same type and brand that the retailer sells in an amount equal to the deposit collected. By-law they have to return the full deposit.

I stayed here twice. First time the floor was wet, and stayed wet all day then smelled like mold. The second time there was bed bugs. I woke up with little bits of blood all over my neck, then checked under the bed. It was gross. I get it's a flophouse; however, when I asked politely for a new room the old man (owner I think) told me that I should deal with it or get a different hotel. He was very abbrasive other times to, that was the annoying part.

The owner/building manager of this place is a con artist. We did work for him after an insurance claim 4 months ago and he still hasn't paid up. He wanted us to remove asbestos in an occupied building. He also sent us in knowing it contained asbestos and didn't tell us hoping that we would not realize and just remove it. The building was occupied and everyone's future life would have been in danger. We completed more then half the job and haven't seen a penny. He just avoids our calls and emails. He said the money has been sent to accounting 2 months ago.
