Probably Vernon's main dog park. It is a very big field with lots of room for dogs to run and play, with a pathway around the perimeter to walk your dog(s) and get some exercise yourself as well. At the far end you can enter the forest and walk along the BX creek trail, which is a great escape from the heat on a hot summer day. Your dog can also wade into parts of the creek along the trail to drink or cool off, unless it's during the spring runoff when the creek is raging. My dog loves going to this park, and I'm sure yours will as well.

What a great place to hang out with the kids even if you don't have a dog! The walking trail in the trees along the creek is ideal for hot summer days. The cool water and ample pools make for Splash time fun! So many dogs and so many kids that you do not have any trouble enjoying yourself and losing track of time. The open field when you arrive is also a wonderful place play fetch with your dog because you can't possibly overthrow the ball or whatever toy you are playing with.

This place is truly magical. When you get there, you see a big open field for the dogs to rip around. At the back of the field, there are several entrances into the forest paths. It is seriously magical in there. I can't wait to go back.

Awesome place to walk the dog...huge wide open field greets you at the entrance..and at the far end..the entrance to "Enchanted Forest for dogs". Containing several knee high creeks and complete shade by the forest canopy your dog can play without overheating.. kudos to the folks that donated this land....

Always a good spot to take the pup. Great walk besides the creek. Poop bags always supplied and bins throughout.
