Well, this is partly my fault for purchasing a gas stove for a remote property. I researched for the closest gas fitter to my location and came up with Nicola Plumbing. They were more than cordial over the phone, and agreed to service my stove and do an install a few hours drive away. For that I am grateful. However, the gas fitter that came took MUCH longer than reasonable, did not bring the correct tool for the change over from gas to propane, and had not done his research prior to making the drive. The stove worked. One year later he was called with a questions, as the oven stopped functioning. He returned with a new ignitor, did not check whether there was power going to it or not, took out the original without knowing whether or not it was a problem, rigged up a new one that is not the right one, did not use connectors on all the connecting points, found the oven to still not work, refused to phone the 1-800 number until much time elapsed, came up with another possibility, left with the oven still not working... Today I have an oven ignitor that was not made for my range that was rough shoddily installed, an oven part recommended for $500 that they would source and drive back (each time to the tune of several hundred dollars) which the 1-800 resource said it definitely is not the problem and could be checked with the turn of two knobs - high tech... the bill included a marked up starter, many more hours of driving over what is the estimated time, a charge for the hours it took for me, the owner, to make it into a town to purchase the small tool needed for the job and back, the wrong advice regarding the actual fix, the excuse that my range was not for domestic use - of which it is, but perhaps not in homes like mine :) but sold for residential use every where else, a delay in responding to my disappointment email, with the surcharge added on to the original bill due to overdue payment... I could go on... but this is just to say that although the owner and the phone rep is more than lovely to deal with, I would not recommend the service at all. I have paid my bill, with the surcharge, but just to make this bad experience go away. I do NOT recommend.

I had the furnace maintained, and also the pressure reduction valve checked and replaced. I received detailed information on current status and options, the work was very well done and in the end I was given all information to make informed decisions in the future. I highly recommend this company for top professionalism and excellent communication.
