We have been camping there for 10 years. We stayed on after the new owners took over in 2015. The owners are very friendly and up hold the campers to the rules. We enjoy camping there. It is a place to go if you want peace and quiet. We don't have to deal with people riding quads, music blaring all night, and our things are not destroyed or stolen by other people comig in to our campsite. The gate is locked all the time so we know our things are safe there when we are not there. The bathroom are cleaned on a regular basis. It is our home away from home in the summertime. We like to thank Keli and Kurt for a job well done.

Camped there with my parents for a decade in the late 90's early 00's. It was my favorite place to camp and, to this day, no place has been able to compare. That is... until things changed. The prices got jacked up. The owners started pushing long-time tenants out to make room in the best sites for their family. If you complained about anything, you were evicted. If you made noise, you were evicted. If you had a guest, you were evicted. All of this was true if you weren't family and you were in one of the nice lots. Time and loyalty means nothing. We left because it just wasn't worth it anymore. It was no longer "Alberta's best kept secret"

This is one of Alberta's best kept secrets.....the lake is clean, the beaches and campground are also very clean. The gentlemen with the horribly run comment must have failed to follow the rules, which are no different that what are found in a provincial or national campground,. Ownership does an excellent job of ensuring the noise levels at night are kept to a minimum which is great for those of us with small children. Highly recommended!!!!

Perfect September day for an afternoon outing with a good friend! Peaceful and relaxing.

Hands-down a horribly run campground. The high turnover of seasonal guests should be your first indication because the lake is beautiful. We were "guests" for 3 (2.5 years) and watched and heard sooo many complaints about ownership from pretty much everyone. It's neglected, poorly-run and feels more like walking on eggshells than actually camping. Our final weekend this year started with repeated gunshots echoing for over an hour from the owner's family across the road. Our daughter was actually too scared to go outside! When we texted the owners and complained, we were told to "feel free to go over there and complain ourselves". Two nights later, we had music playing for 45 minutes (the first time in 2.5 years) and were harshly CONFRONTED the following morning and evicted within 24 hours! It's rundown, neglected and thankfully for the remaining guests - it's for sale!
