Had a great time . NOTICE TO CAMPERS. IF YOU'RE SICK STAY HOME. THERE WERE A FEW AHOLES THAT DON'T RESPECT OTHERS COUGHING THEIR HEADS OFF, BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS. We enjoyed ourselves, the beach. Lots of fish. Zero mosquitoes when we were there. Support local business !

Well this place like many others has its pros and cons. A pro would be if you like group camping or get togethers with friends or family then yes it's great. A con would be if your just trying to get away make sure you get a campsite that will actually got your camper. Our site said 21-32 ft and our camper is 22 ft long even if we managed to get our camper in we wouldn't have been able to put out our slide or we wouldn't be able to put out our awning. Plus your basically sharing your campsite with the campers beside you. All In all beautiful drive to get there but for us not worth it and just because our experience was bad doesn't mean yours will be. Hope this helps someone.

Was there June 19-21 2020, Positives: There are plenty of walking trails, nice views and a couple (little) beaches to swim with nice water, 1 or 2 fishing spots, a boat launch and IF you have a off road vehicle there are trails and sand dunes. There is a small store close by, depending on how you look at it I guess it can be both negative and positive that there is little to no cell service. Positive for me! Negatives: The sites were totally overgrown approximately 24” tall grass, zero and I mean zero privacy so you seem to have a group site with strangers, all 3 sites we had especially 10&11 the fire pits were full to the top with the last campers garbage which was disgusting especially with the covid era we are presently in, and the bathrooms were far bellow sanitary standards. There is also crown land beside it with sand dunes so you hear off road vehicles all day/night. I would honestly have to say that it has been my least favorite of the many many provincial parks we camp at.

Wasn't very impressed. The roads were so bad that you couldn't drive more then 5km. You try to go around some of the big holes and there were low hanging trees on the roads that hit our camper causing damage. The beach wasn't dredged either so it was all plant life. Spent both nights we were there listening to other campers fight. No idea where the conservation officers were. Camp grounds were also difficult to get a camper into.

Was at a private campground. Many, many rules for that campground. Water is higher than the past little while at the lake. Beach was alright.
