Medicentres Family Care Clinics

I live downtown and this is my go to walk in clinic. I haven’t had a family doctor in almost 15 years and since moving to Alberta from Ontario over 6 years ago. (I know I should really get one already) I’ve seen a couple of different doctors at this clinic and I’ve never had an issue. Front desk staff have always been polite and helpful, sadly I can’t say that about other walk in clinics I’ve been to in the city. They’re usually pretty upfront and accurate about their wait times here and pretty quick. I had seen Dr Hassan today and I’ve seen her there a few other time’s I’ve gone for a walk in. She is a gem, always very nice, helpful and actually listens to you. I’ve also seen another doctor that I really liked there too, sadly I can’t remember his name (smaller Asian man) he’s great too!

Saturday hours posted as open till 2. I arrived at 1:18. CLOSED! The doctors are great though, if you can catch them. To be fair, I am happy to say that from behind the closed gate, the receptionist flagged down an assistant. Sayed phoned and found another clinic elsewhere that is open.

Regardless of the wait time to see Dr. C, the staff has always been above and beyond kind. (I mean, come on people, it’s a fricken global pandemic, have some patience. The world does not revolve around you) During the pandemic, I can’t imagine how stressful it must be to be a front line worker. Katherine (I hope that’s how it’s spelled) is just an amazing addition to the staff. She does her absolute best to try to accommodate the patients, even when they’re losing their patience. So, kudos to you, Katherine. 👍🏽👍🏽 Keep up the great work, and remember to take care of you, as well.

I had great service. Friendly staff and short wait time. Dr. Zhang was lovely, treated me with respect and helped me with my problem.

My boyfriend and I were here to take medical exam for immigration. They were really nice and effective.
