Simmi is my go-to stylist at V-Va salon for my hair needs. I spent years trying different salons and being let down by hair professionals until I found one I can finally trust. What stands out about Simmi is that she takes the time to listen and get a good understanding of what you want but also gives great advice on how your hair can be styled for your unique face shape. She's done both short and long hair styles on me which have turned out AMAZING and I've received countless compliments on. She also made me feel very comfortable during the experience and communicates consistently about what she is about to do to my hair. The experience was always therapeutic especially with her killer head massages. She has an abundance of passion and confidence for her work and it really shows. Highly recommend getting hair cut or styled by Simmi -- I've gone to her for multiple occasions and she has done such a terrific job. She listens to what you want to get done and takes the time to discuss options and steps to giving you the perfect look! She understands the importance of considering different hair types, face structures and hair health as well. She always has a smiling and positive attitude and it's always exciting to visit her! As a simple man, I go wherever offers hair cuts and is cheap lol, always thought salons would be expensive and more so for women. Boy, was I wrong! Excellent service by the owners, and Nick the hairdresser, was blown away with how good it turned out, and to my surprise, cheaper then most barber shops in town! Highly recommended, will be going back for life now.

I have always been reluctant to get my hair cut professionally due to past experiences, many stylists are not well versed with thick and curly hair. Simmi was able to help bring my curls back to life, she did a great job at giving me a hair cut that provides the shape and bounce I wanted. She also showed me how to properly style and manage my curls. I couldn't be happier with my hair now, she is now my go-to person. Thank you Simmi for helping me love my hair again!
