Glencoe Motel and RV

As you can see from the owners replies to other 1 star reviews, they are very unprofessional. Anyhow, we stayed here every weekend for a winter 4 years ago and that was great (probably different owners or workers). However, we HAD a spot for our rv to stay long term and the day before we are suppose to move out of our apartment we go to meet Stephanie the owner I assume, and she tells us she gave away our spot, laughs and says "that's the way it goes". What a joke, the place has become a dump with horrid management. If you're looking for a night away or somewhere to camp I'd stray far away from this place. :)

Unorganized, very rude staff. We went in every year for May long weekend forThe last 4 years and requested certain room and sites. None of which were honoured. The camp sites had about 1ft long grass that weren’t even mowed for our ground staying in RVs. They demanded a cash deposit and refused to put a hold on the card. The place looks totally run down now and looks like it houses “long term” residents only. I wouldn’tEven give this place one star. Won’t recommend to anyone and will never be back.

We were biking through and didn't have a place to stay and it was getting late, the office would be closed by the time we got there but they stayed up and made a bed for us. A small simple act of kindness that totally made our night. The building is older on the outside but the rooms have been redone and we enjoyed our stay.

Friendly staff clean rooms great location. Highly recommend
