Old Settler Pub

The atmosphere here is airy modern rustic - a massive log cabin basically - with a [slightly quieter & more private] glass-enclosed heated indoor/ outdoor patio area, looking onto a picturesque green-banked creek/ waterway running below.. Hubby likes their burgers, but few vegan options exist for me here; however, the lightly-curried rice bowl with veggies I had was delicate & piping hot! Service is brisk, & prices reasonable.. [NB: While social distancing is enforced by widely-spaced seating, it gets quite busy here on weekends for dinner - so arrive early to avoid a long wait!]

Good food and reasonable prices tho staff weren't as attentive as I would have hoped. We were seated quickly but then ignored, probably because we were seated in a quiet back area not visible to the bar where they were congregating. Our server did eventually arrive and with a bit of prompting gave good recommendations and found me a very tasty brew that wasn't listed on the menu. Leadership in customer service and client engagement would benefit this youthful serving staff and the establishment. Portions were good, selection varied and quality excellent. Would have given 5 stars if we had been received as welcome guests rather than inconvenient interruptions to the staff party at the bar.

We called ahead to make a reservation, the service from the moment they answered the phone, to greeting us when we arrived was excellent, Alika was our server and she was just lovely!! The food was amazing, so was the ambiance of the pub! Would come again!! I had the lamb burger which was delicious, and my partner had the ribs! Both great value!

Delicious burgers with fantastic vibes and great design. In this place I feel the real country vibe! 👌excellent service 👌👌highly recommend.

The food and service were both very good! Nachos were tasty and great value for the moderate price charged. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Worth the drive for sure.
