This place would be something truly special if they did not allow power boats on the Lake. The beauty and enjoyment can be spoiled by the sludge of oil and noise of engines and waves. Maybe Hope will step up with rules to protect the natural beauty of this place, then it will be truly 5-star.

This is an Awesome place for family and friends. It has all the basic amenities like showers, washrooms. On our stay we didn't find bugs or mosquitoes, may be because of weather or fire. It is really close to market, liquor stores, super store, Starbucks and booster juice. Other attraction is Othello tunnels, these are amazing and close too. These tunnels are superb and water sight seeing at tunnels is mind blowing. Beautiful beaches, amazing fishing experience and extremely safe place. Lots of cool campers, wild raccoons and beautiful geese. Save your food from raccoons. Must visit this place. I would highly recommend it.

Very good place to bring the kids, Showers and clean bathrooms available, hook ups available, helpful staff and beautiful views. It is a bit small but very family oriented and perfect for keeping an eye on little ones. The only thing I can say is the swimming area is overrun with weeds, so swim in the deeper areas if you hate the feel like I do! Overall it was a good experience and everyone had alot of fun attending the hope brigade days, which was about a 10 minute drive from the campground.

This place is pretty nice. We got here around 10 and they still checked us in the lady behind the desk was super friendly and helpful she gave us the pick of several sites to choose from. There's a lot of permanent campsites so it has kind of a lived-in feel. People seem friendly enough. no pets allowed which was great for us but I know some people find that off-putting. I gave it four stars because you have to pay for the showers not much just $0.25 for 5 minutes. And it feels a little dirty but not bad. They did take discover card here! Sites 32-34 are along the road, nice, fairly wide, but a little noisy because of the occasional car.

Friendly and helpful owners, peaceful, beautiful view of the lake- waterfront camping spot! Clean toilets/showers really good value for money! Chance to do our laundry! Drinking water spots close to our site. Loved eating our breakfast outside in the sunshine watching the birds. Only stayed one night but would definitely use again if we were in the area. Good location to visiting the Othello tunnels. NB...At the fork road go left (arrow to site is not the clearest)
