Slocan Community Health Centre

This facility is top notch. Certainly location wise they may see fewer patients over all, but the significance of having this center available for travelers and locals especially in peak season is crucial considering the amount of accidents that can arise in the region. When surprise issues arise it becomes desperately essential to have this facility operational. It also compliments the RCMP station there. My friend had his shoulder dislocated whilst having a man vs. canoe battle and unfortunately the canoe won. The staff was amazing and fundamental in correcting the situation over a couple days with first aid, advice, and x-rays. The place has just got to stay so we can all still play! Thanks to the staff and the people of the Slocan valley for having us and taking such great care of their guests. Class A1 operation!

Definitely a positive community resource which is extremely valuable for this particular community we all need a little help now and then and this place is all about that they do what they can and they'll definitely help you find the direction you need to go all you need to do is ask

This is a residential care facility, not a lodge for visitors. Excellent care in a fabulous setting.
