A year ago we got them to hook up a propane powered generator. Tench provided a quote including inspection. The inspector said the parts were not up to code and to install something different. Tench sent up a bill for all of their extra time to fix their work that was not approved, then overcharged us for the part, and added extra time for the install beyond the quote. We are still arguing with them over payment.

Tench Plumbing & Heating have been doing my work for a number of years now. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has a heating or plumbing issue. Whether it be old boiler systems or old galvanized Tench knows their stuff! Always fast and reliable.

Worst experience ever. I usually don't make online reviews but I decided I had to do this just so people don't have to go through what I went through. The owner is a nice guy but seems to just be taking on to much for his company to handle. I was told my basement bathroom would be done by end of December/January but it went way past what I was told and was not completed till April 2019. It got to the point where the communication was so bad between his workers and him that I had to be the one informing both sides of the progress. The owner thought the work was done when infact it wasn't and so I had to tell him and get him to send his workers back. Basically it was a nightmare and I would never wish it on anyone. After 2 months of finishing the work the baseboards are already falling apart.

I am in a condo on the main floor, had a major backup in the kitchen sink, contacted the property mgr. Tench's man Jason was at my door within a 1/2 hr. Very polite and very quick at assessing the problem and fixing same. In and out in 1 hr. He is a credit to the service industry. Keep up the good work. R. Keith ( Past Pres. Pre-Con Builders)
