This is a great place to camp if you're looking for a nice quiet spot, but still like being close to everything. Sites were very spacious, washrooms clean and the campground was peaceful and quiet all week (it does get very, very windy). The campground itself looked like it could use some maintenance, though it didn't really bother us. Separately, the views from across the road are amazing and a great plus. The ice cream is delicious, but be warned that the scoops are enormous.

It's a beautiful spot, albeit windy, and a good location to see the surrounding area (the small towns as well as Blomidon provincial park). I would give this a 5⭐ rating if it was more up to date and the grounds better maintained. We enjoyed our stay here though and I would recommend it still.

Would be a 5 star if there were things to do. Owners don't seem to be interested in providing things - washer toss tournaments, movie nights, hayrides etc. so much that you could do in this awesome spot - but just not making it happen. Love the location, love the environment, but wish there was more there to do for kids and adults.

What a great spot! Friendly owners and staff. Beautiful sunrises over the basin and lots of places to explore close by!

Beautiful setting but we weren't there to camp so can't comment on the facilities. Washroom was convenient!
