Went to the ER due to pain. I have a sequestered disc. Asked to have something to help with pain as my regular narcotic prescription was no longer helping. He insisted that I answer all types of questions about things unrelated to the pain. I once again told him please give me something for pain and I’ll answer your questions all day. At that moment I was unfit due to pain to answer how many pregnancies I’ve had. As well I was known to this doctor and I had been attending this hospital as needed my entire life. He said I was not co-operating and because of that he would leave the room and be back in 20 minutes to see if I could be more agreeable. I ended up being sent by ambulance to get a CAT scan. Nobody in that much distress should be treated like that ever. He is a terrible doctor with horrific bedside manner, to say nothing about his arrogant attitude. If you can’t understand unrelenting pain you shouldn’t be a doctor.
