What a beautiful spot!! The campsites are large and well taken care off. The hosts are friendly (simple rule - don't leave containers unattended, especially when there's a local mama bear with two cubs). I'd give 5⭐ if the pit toilets were cleaned daily.

Kearsley Creek is one of my favourite little campsites close too home. Richard and Lynne are such wonderful hosts, they are super friendly and accommodating. The sites are always clean and well maintained, the bathrooms were always spotless which was extremely reassuring during the covid-19 pandemic. We even forgot our tarp and Richard kindly let us borrow one of his which saved us a trip into town. He saved the day and kept us dry as it rained 4/7 days we were there. This is a perfect family campsite, if you want some serenity it is very quiet during the week.. If you want too be left alone just follow the rules and you will have no problems, the hosts are very fair. We drove too the other campsites up the road too check them out but they do not compare too Kearsley. It is by far the best campground up stave. Thank you Richard and Lynne, we had such a great time and we look forward too next year.

What is the point on camping if everyone is to be squeezed in a small regulated area? Their fire wood is 10 dollars and it wont last and hour. Also if you choose to go bring drinking water! I did however enjoy the park attendant named Lynn. Thank you for your kindness! What a waste of my time and money planning this small pre school holiday. never again!!

Excellent place to take your family and just let loose. Exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts that know all the dangers and activities and will give you heads up on the latest concerns such as bears in the area. One of my favorite spots to camp or just go for a day trip.

This is a new campground and the guy Richard running it is doing an amazing job. It's a nice quiet campground on the side of Stave Lake. Around 50 campsites for tenting or RVs.
