WARNING ! A PLACE TO AVOID !!! if i could i would put 0 star. C a dangerous place for camping, no emergency phone, no wifi (the receptionist did not want to give the Wifi code despite us having asked for it). The cell phone has no signal. The road accessible to this reserve is unpaved, no cellular network, no emergency telephone. it takes at least 50 minutes to go to the campsite. Imagine if there are emergencies, how you are doing! The Camping du lac rimouski site is very disappointing as described in the other review. my child was bitten by a wild animal, but we had no help. It's hell. For us, it's a nightmare!

The campsites are very ordinary! rocky terrain with no privacy. If you are unlucky (like us) you have young, noisy neighbors and you hear everything as if they were on your property. Not recommended for camping with tents especially !!! It is unfortunate because it is really set back in the woods and magnificent as a reserve. The staff (Genevieve and Gabriel) were super nice, understanding and helpful. The canoe service is free. Important to know, this site is really made for hunting and fishing. There is a place to butcher the caught trout but you need your tools and materials. No network except for the wifi at the reception.

40 km in a dirt road with very little indication and poorly maintained to arrive at the campsite and be told that the terrain is not like that book on the site. No grass, very little tree and no privacy. No sand on land, it is rock to size. The beautiful grounds have all been replaced by cottages, so the campgrounds now have a view of the cottages instead of the lake .... to avoid!

Phew. We reserve a beautiful land on the edge of the lake. We arrive, after 45 km on a dirt road, and we are told that all the land has been converted into chalet space !!! There are only 4 spaces to put tents, far from the lake, on rocks. Why not warn us? Why not bother to call us? Why not update their website? We should not even have to pay! Frankly disgusting the Sepaq!

After a 7 day tour of the Gaspé, a stop at this place was a good decision. My 2 teenagers, me and my spouse loved our 3 nights at Lake Rimouski cottage 1 ... No WIFI and no one complained. It is besides the best connection that we had without social network .... NATURE in the pure state! Really nice new and clean chalet. 👌🏽
