The staff are friendly and helpful, although don't expect to be processed quickly on a weekend.

I've had my stuff stored there for a year now with no issues. However, getting anything done is incredibly slow. Seems like there usually only one person working. From my experience, average wait times are 30-45 minutes in person.

They do not sell insurance for the storage units. So make sure your own policy is in place and accurate for when you are broken into. Double check and make sure that you are not backed onto an empty unit, or that the unit does not have one of the disc style locks (they say are mandatory for you to use their storage). It makes it easy for someone to break into your unit from the other unit by pulling back the thin sheet metal. Then they tell you "... we have found no direct negligence on the part of U-Haul or its employees..." Then they decline consideration of your claim. Also, check out the Edmonton Crime map for the area. Otherwise it has great access and friendly staff and burnt out light bulbs.

As far as storage & moving facilities go, U-Haul has a solid solution for anyone who is facing either or both of those circumstances. With many sizes of storage units and vehicles to choose from its easy to see why U-Haul is a leader in this industry. The property is clean and has great staff. There is a washroom within the enclosed site and has a place to store even the largest motorhomes and tractor trailers.. whatever your transitional needs are you can be assured they have you covered. The prices are fair and will accommodate any budget and they have everything one could need to help facilitate the process whether it's a box for the large flatscreen, fragile dishes, wardrobe, books, or a lock or even straps to tie down the load as you drive off into the horizon. They also have 24hr access and have many cameras on site. All in all its hard to think of why they shouldn't get 5 stars. If you are planning a move or just need a great location to trust your belongings in storage for a period of time, I would choose U-Haul again and again..
