Jarvis Bay Provincial Campground

I'm torn on what to say. I want to say it's terrible and too busy so that everyone stays away and I don't have to share the park. But in reality I've never camped there, but we live close by. We routinely go walk there in the off seasons and a bit during the summer. There is a 4-5km loop on paths through the trees. I never run into too many people. Lots of garbage cans for puppy poo. It's beautiful during the fall and winter. We quite like it.

Super friendly hard working staff here :) :) Camp sites are powered, spaced apart providing decent privacy, and the flush toilet bathrooms with running water sinks were always cleaned regularly! (**some sites have the porta-potty type tank under bathroom - not good when down wind). Huge bonus... Sylvan beach is a five minute drive Definitely coming back for years to come :)

The campground sites are very nice with space and trees. The noise levels are not acceptable. Day and night. This is our 3rd visit and our last . No one polices any rules. There is a group of 20 year olds in the site next to us. Partying till 2am . I thought with Covid the campers had to be from the same family. And a max of 6. Yes we called their complaint number with No results. Go stay somewhere else. This campground is just a convenient party place close to town. And no one cares.

The sites were clean and well taken care of. The sites have plenty of trees for cover, and are adequately spaced between the other sites so you're not encroaching on your neighbours. The washrooms were outstanding, well kept and maintained regularly. Their dump station is able to handle four trailers at once, so it makes leaving less of a hassle when you have to dump your tanks first.
