Gaetz Dental - Dentist in Red Deer

I had such an amazing experience at Gaetz dental. The dentist educated me on things I never had any knowledge of to help keep me nice & healthy! I feel like she truly cares about her patients & their health! She is very nice and helps you feel comfortable (especially if you’re scared of going to the dentist like I am). Also, the staff was just as amazing. So glad I came here & I definitely see why this office has so many good reviews. Keep up the great work ! :)

I have been on the lookout for a good dentist in Red Deer since mine sadly moved. I could not be happier with my experience during my first few visits. They have been exceptional with understanding my prior care and history! I have already referred a friend who is very happy. Thank you to the Gaetz Dental team for your excellent care.

Really great service by the reception and the doctors!! My mom had to do quick cleaning and extraction and staff supported us quite well with appointments and service. Thank you so much staff and dr Jas Sandhu 😊😀.

NO STAR REVIEW Worst dentist office ever. I called inquiring about a mouth guard, rather than giving me a quote over the phone like everyone else, they requested me to come in for an appointment. We discussed why I wanted a mouth guard and the dentist showed me a sample of what I would be getting. On my follow up appointment Dr. Jas Sandhu was very rough when fitting the mouth guard so much so that my jaw was bruised and swollen that evening terribly (pictures were taken). Upon returning home I noticed that my mouth guard looked nothing like the sample they showed me, the guard didn’t cover my back molar tooth on one side or have enough material to clip on my two front teeth. I called the office and got rebooked for an earlier follow up appointment. When I showed Dr. Jas Sandhu the issues he wasn’t very concerned about them saying this is how they are made now and the only thing he did was make an adjustment to help hold it in place when wearing the guard. (I was also very scared for him to touch me from when he hurt & bruised me last time) I left with the same guard unsatisfied and asked for a refund at the front desk, the office lady said she would have to wait until the office admin was in next to process it as she could not. The office admin called me and said she had 2 options she could do, the first would be to come in and see the female dentist to try and correct the mouth guard (which they highly preferred) or the second would be issue a refund which was something they preferred not to do. Weary I went in to see Dr. Preet Kaur, she reviewed my file and looked at the issues with my mouth guard and got the hygienist to do another impression so we could get a new mouth guard made. Shortly after leaving the office the dental hygienist called me asking me to come back in as she broke the impression molding. I was not impressed. The new mouth guard came in and I went for a fitting, I was happy to see the guard fit over my teeth properly, however these was still an issue. The mouth guard was built with extra material under the front teeth therefore giving a big gap between my teeth when my jaw was closed and ultimately causing major pain in the jaw and mouth. I called the office and Dr. Preet Kaur advised me to discontinue using the guard and to come in for a follow up appointment as soon as possible. Unfortunately the follow up appointment did not go well. When I expressed my concerns with the extra material on the guard causing a large gap between my jaw which was causing me pain and requested a refund, Dr. Preet Kaur then tried saying maybe there was issues she could not see and wanted to pass me off to a specialist instead of owing up to the screw up her office made yet again. Needless to say I got extremely upset when they refused to give me a refund for a product that was not correct or able to be worn and the appointment did not end very well. I would never recommend either of these dentists as they cannot issue a product like the samples shown to clients.
