Dr. Boughen is absolutely amazing, he listens, cares and truly wants to help his patients. The staff are always kind and helpful, even when busy. I always leave satisfied knowing that my concerns have been alleviated.

This is my first time ever leaving a review but I feel it is very important to warn people about Dr. Quaye. I wish I would have read the other reviews before I wasted my time at his clinic. To give some background, I was looking for a doctor/nurse to administer my allergy shots. I do have a family doctor in Edmonton, however I wanted to find someone close to work (in stony plain) that could give me the needles every week. I was very clear about this over the phone when I made the appointment two weeks prior. I arrived at the clinic on time, and then had to wait 1.5 hours to see the doctor. Which is frustrating but things happen. Finally time to meet the doctor and right away he made me feel uncomfortable and he was condescending. He told me there was no way in hell he would help me unless I made him my family doctor. He said I needed to call her, tell her I was done with her, sign some papers, then he would consider giving me the shots. I explained that his staff led me to believe that this was going to be possible and he said well they should have talked to him and that he was going to tell them off. At this point he was yelling and getting angry. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I have never met a doctor like him and I hope I never do again. I cant believe after that brief meeting he thought I would choose him as a family doctor. The whole experience was unbelievable.

If you can avoid dr.quaye it's a decent place, no issues with reception but unless you just need prescriptions filled he is all but useless. He wont help with what you came in for, only tell you unrelated info and then leave before you can talk to him. If you need a family doctor, avoid him.

first of all i never write reviews, but i was so disgusted with the service i received here that i had to. I went in to talk to dr. quaye about a few things. he did not even hear me out and did not care. usually doctors will try to work with you and figure out something that works for you, am i right? not this guy. he told me to talk to my family doctor.. well if i could talk to my family doctor on such short notice i probably would not be sitting at a walk in clinic... thanks for the waste of time, when all i really needed was someone to hear me out.

I’m Not one for doctors usually or missing work to go to them , however I have had an inflamed pain in my jaw for a while and my dentist hadn’t seemed to do anything. so thinking maybe DR Quay could help me I booked and appointment . It wasn’t 30 seconds after meeting him I was disgusted as he went on to tell me every reason it wasn’t his job to deal with my problem And never took a second to even look at me and treated me as if I was stupid for contacting him. Not a checkup or a referral to a orthodontist or anything - nothing ! , all and all the appointment maybe took a minute before I got up and left his office while he blabbed on . NOW the Funny thing is ...I received a call Main Street medical yesterday saying I must have gave them the wrong health certificate number and that they couldn’t bill Alberta healthcare for my 1 minute visit that dr quay was trying to claim pay his pay on .MR quay and Main Street medical clinic is an absolute joke and nothing but a licenced leech to rip off the government for their pay , Dr quay Doesn’t care about you and shouldn’t be a doctor to begin with . Don’t waste your time here .
