Negative number for the newer doctors if I could!! When did it become acceptable for doctors to "pick & choose" their patients??? It has happened to me, & the older & chronic patients get left out in the cold because a doctor doesn't "feel comfortable" prescribing pre-existing medications?? LETS GET REAL HERE!! So in the meantime, these patients have NO doctor because their's left & the replacement doesn't want them?? Hippocratic Oath MEANS NOTHING TO THEM?

I reported my former physician, Aaron Hartley, MD of Calgary, and I was sent a letter saying the complaint was "denied" and that I would have to appeal it. This is very strange, because it should just go straight to the committee for review: this "doctor" that I saw, Aaron Hartley - new doctor to AB - ignored the specialist opinion, misdiagnosed me, wanted to prescribe medication that was not warranted for my condition. When I developed a 2nd condition (what I call a "compensating injury") he told me that pain was "all in my head" and refused to advocate for me to get proper treatment. Overall, a terrible doctor.

Won't even answer their phones for complaints...

Very disappointed in the CPSA. I broke my back and had nerve damage in my left leg, I have not been able to move my foot in 8 years. Through hormone replacement and alternative medicine i'm now functional and and can live a normal life. ALL the SURGEONS, NERVE so called SPECIALIST, told me that it would never rejuvenate but pump myself with prescription pain killers and anti-depressants. The only type of medicine that helped me was hormone and alternative and now taking away my Doctors ability to practice medicine. If it doesnt make them a profit they will shut. Keep charging more tax, keep pushing more prescriptions.

All patients who have been suffering with pain We need to take the medical personal to court. This is inhumane and making patients suffer goes against their ethics The only way to change this is to go to courts Being a doctor does not mean they have the power. Doctors are not helping patients my doctor blames the college. The college is looking at a class action lawsuit Change you policy or you will be taken to court. Your playing with peoples quality of life
