After I had orthodontic work that finished in 2009 my teeth looked much better and were considerably improved but the midline between my top and bottom front teeth wasn't aligned properly and this bothered me even though the misalignment was small. I moved to the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada in 2017 and decided to discuss the issue with orthodontists there. I saw several in Abbotsford and Chilliwack but none of them wanted to take my case on, trying to dismiss the issue as minor and telling me to be happy with my teeth the way they were. Then I went to see Clawson Orthodontics in Chilliwack and encountered a very different attitude. Right from the start their approach was much more professional and thorough. At my initial consultation photos were taken of my teeth from all angles, analyzed and discussed. Even though the problem was considerably more minor than the ones experienced by most of their other patients, Dr Stonecypher took my concern very seriously and treated it with the same amount of importance as the orthodontic work required by the rest of his patients. Other orthodontists had missed the fact that there were small gaps in between some of my teeth that needed to be closed up and which would in fact shift the midline and improve it. There were also other teeth that needed to be moved up and down. A very accurate scan was done of my teeth with a special freehand machine and I was given several sets of clear Invisalign type aligners that were made at Clawson Orthodontic's own onsite lab. I was given 3 - 4 sets at a time and then attended a follow up appointment during which any improvements were analyzed, along with the need for further treatment for which more aligners were made. I was also shown computerized images of what my teeth would look like after I had finished wearing all the aligners. Dr Stonecypher's dedication to perfection and my happiness paid off and I now have the best possible result. Each tooth now has contact with the one beside it, my midline is 100% aligned and every tooth is perfectly positioned and in line with each other giving me the perfect bite and the perfect smile. Dr Stonecypher is exceptional and all the staff at Clawson Orthodontics are extremely professional and very pleasant to deal with plus their fees are also very reasonable, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
