Surf Sister Surf School

What a fantastic surf school! Our son enjoyed learning how to surf at stunning Cox Beach, with Carly from Surf Sister. She was patient and really knew how to teach the variety of ages in the group of 5. Our son was catching waves within a few minutes, and he had so much fun for the entire 3 hour lesson. Carly was very diligent with safety in the water- I felt comfortable letting my son go off with her while I relaxed on the beach. What a perfect way to spend the afternoon in Tofino!

Can't recommend this school enough! I had so much fun in my first lesson I took another class two days later. Jo was a particularly amazing instructor but everyone I talked to, including the staff at the store, was super personable and kind. If you're in Tofino don't miss out on trying to surf!

The enthusiasm of the staff is confidence inspiring. My girlfriend and I both had a great time learning to surf. She was very, very concerned about being cold...for about a minute! Once you are in, you don't even think about it. Can't wait to get back to Tofino. Thanks so much!

Had an amazing time with Larissa and my group. Very detailed and hands on lesson. My first time surfing and felt safe and comfortable with how to handle myself and the equipment in the water. Emily was a wonderful instructor who taught friend and I. We were absolute beginners, and she had us standing within only a few tries. She did a wonderful job communicating the technique and any suggestions she had throughout the lesson. I'd definitely recommend her and the company!
