Driftwood Dental

Thank you to Dr. Ray and Kim for my new crowns. Nice job Dr. Ray and thanks to Kim for making my appointment more entertaining.

I went here for a broken tooth, emergency appointment. The place seems nice enough, staff is kind. I got ex-rays; the dentist barely looked at my tooth, she says it would be easier to pull then to take more ex-rays and fix it; and it will cost $100 more then what is covered by Blue-Cross! YIKES! I'll go see my dentist at Mercato Dental in Vancouver, who would never pull my teeth if there are other options and never charges more then whats covered by extended health. Whew!!

Awesome service, Ive seen both Dr. Lake and Dr Ray both very professional and great service. I had an inflamed tooth and they were able to squeeze me in within a few days even though booking was weeks out. Girls at reception are also some of the most courteous and friendly people ive had the pleasure of talking to. Thanks again for the great service, I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a great dental service!

The female dentist at driftwood dental are really putting a hamper on gender equality. I previously had my tooth repaired in 2009 by a competent dentist who happened to be a male. In the broken off portion of my tooth, he anchored a pin and proceeded to build a filling around it. This repair job stood up for over 7 years of hard miles. When I went to driftwood dental I told the dentist that she should just make the repair around the original pin. She told me "I have to remove the pin but I am going to replace it with a new one". After the procedure I felt nerve pain and wondered how that could be? Well my suspicions were conformed when barely a month after the procedure, while eating an apple the repair job fell out. No sign of a pin anywhere! Now I am working out of town and have to go back to Smithers and miss two days of work to let those bumbling fools have another crack at my tooth. Avoid them like the plague!!!!
