The new owner Raj is amazing. Very friendly staff. The facilities were always clean . They offer hot showers and have a laundry mat on site. It is right on the Rail Road bike path and Kalamalka Beach. I also played their mini golf course , it is older but free and fun for the kids. I went there twice this year. I love the fact you can camp right on cold stream. Very nice when it is 32 degrees out. You get some shad, and coolness from the stream as well. They have a nice office there as well with ice, pop, snacks , laundry soap ect. I would highly recommend if you want a nice place to camp this spring or summer , this is the place to go. Kid and pet friendly as well. :)

This was a great campsite close to Kalamalka lake. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly....from the moment we walked into the office to check in. Love the stream running through the campground. Washrooms are well kept. Will definitely be back! Keep up the great service!

The owner of Dutch's Campground, Raj, is absolutely awesome! He is very kind, friendly, down to earth, understanding and helpful. His staff are very friendly and very helpful as well. They all go above and beyond to make sure that your entire stay is relaxing, fun and easy. It is very well maintained, clean and beautiful. I loved the relaxing sound of the creek right out front of my site. For longterm stays, you will really enjoy the sense of community and peace with your neighbors. Also it is located very conveniently to Kalamalka Lake and liquor and grocery stores.

Fantastic location for a campground in the city of Vernon. If your an outdoor enthusiast this is definitely the spot to be. Kalamalka lake and the rail trail are less than a 5 minute walk. Biking/hiking trails is less than a 8 minute drive or if your up for the challenge about a 20 minute ride to kalamalka provincial park, nice warm up before hitting the trails. Staff are fantastic and family orientated. Clean sites backing onto the creek which leaves a peaceful sound at night when the water is high. Raj is amazing went out of his way to accommodate my family for a extra few more nights after staying for a week in peak season. Would definitely come back to Dutches and will book longer next time.

We thought this place was awful we didn’t even stay. Our trailer is 24 feet with one slide out. If you want to be on top of you neighbour then this is the place for you, but not us. And you couldn’t put an awning out. The fellow was nice and did refund our money and only kept 1/2 of our deposit so we were happy. But we would have left all the money if we had to. Less sites and a bit more space would make a big difference. We had difficulty turning around to get out. We couldn’t leave fast enough. I would rate this a minus star.
