I have been to few airports in few countries but I like ours the best. Cleanliness wise, Security wise and most of the stuff is right in place. My only point of concern here is paid vehicle parking, it's getting expensive.
An easy to navigate and well served airport. Serves Winnipeg to destinations throughout North America.
Most spaces still closed due to COVID or have reduced hours. Temperature checks are done as part of the security procedures. Current lines are short so delays unlikely.
Easy to get a cab from the airport with a charge around $20. Winnipeg transit serves the airport with regular frequency.
Arrived at 11 p.m on a night flight from Toronto on November 23rd, 2020:
Airport and washrooms were clean and hygienic.
However, there was a lack of enforcement/security staff and information desk staff did not have a clue to help with ArriveCAN app.
Overall, it was worth 3 stars. 🙂✌
A modern, clean, well staffed and friendly airport to fly out of. Nicely designed to look good and also be functional.
More and more people are traveling every day. Nice to see people actually coming off the flights. One of the nicest airports in Canada 🇨🇦. Welcome to Friendly Manitoba.
