Dental Designs Richardson Centre

I have been going to Dental Designs since 2014 and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a new dentist. Dr. Dulat is gentle, cheerful, and knowledgeable, and I almost look forward to my appointments. I had all of my wisdom teeth taken out by him and it was so expertly done, I considered sending him a thank you letter. I have also had a filling done by Dr. Aurora and I was impressed by her as well. The staff are great, especially Angela, one of the dental hygienists. They have two convenient locations downtown that they rotate between. If you have ever considered switching dentists, give them a call.

I used to fear going to the dentist then I went to Dental Design. With the new technology and amazing customer service my dental visits are nothing to fear and actually quite enjoyable. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

If there was a minus rating it would be minus 5. I'm a 52 year old retired teacher who has been diagnosed with cancer and put on disability. Fighting cancer means dealing with alot of pain. I'm sure that at night, my worries got me grinding my teeth. They've begun to crumble, leaving me with a mouthful of pain. The pain of cancer operations and toothaches together feels like I'm being tortured. I arrived at Dental Designs close to tears and begged for help. The receptionist went through a list. Was I covered? Yes. They told me if it was serious, and it sounded serious, then their office doesn't do root canal or any deep surgery. I said the teeth could simply be pulled. They asked about my cancer so I produced my doctors reports. They said I was between surgery and they don't do dental work on people who have gone through surgery. After realizing they were trying to get rid of me I couldn't hold back the tears. I'm fighting cancer and this office is trying to brush me off. I went to a side chair to try compose myself but the tears kept flowing. I asked where am I suppose to go? What am I suppose to do? Just suffer with cancer, and operations, AND tooth aches? I thought at least, I could take away some pain by visiting a dentist. But they said they don't help cancer patients. The receptionist gave me another dentist address to go to, so I walked in pain for two more hours. At the next office I asked the same questions and they said the complete opposite. Of course, they help cancer patients. Of course, they can help with dental pain, to ease some of my pain. Of course, they want to book me as soon as possible. Which they did. It confirmed my suspicion that everything the Dental Designs office told me was a lie to get rid of me. Well, don't worry because you'll never see me again. I'm shocked at how shamefully you treated a person who showed up on your doorstep suffering from cancer, begging for help from pain. A cancer patient you lied to, and brushed off, and told her to take her pain elsewhere. By the way, no line up in the waiting room so I guess I'm not the first person they snubbed. If you go to Dental Designs, don't go for pain relief. Don't go if you are elderly, a teacher, if you have cancer, if you are a woman, or if you are disabled. You have to make sure you're up to their standards of the type of patients they want or they will lie, make up excuses, and show you the door.
