Scotiabank

I honestly have problems at almost every scotiabank but in my years of being with this bank I have never loved one location so much. They are always kind and friendly and empathetic when helping you. They recognize you and know you which means a lot to me. I have had a rough week and after being rudely turned away at a different location I came to this one the lady at the front was helpful and empathetic to my situation and didnt even question me she said that she would love to help which is more then I can say for the other lady at the other location. In other words if your looking for an amazing branch with amazing people I give a high recommendation to them.

Called in advance to confirm that the estate cheque could be cashed by the son of the recipient. Arrived, then was told I needed original cheque owner to be present. Original cheque owner arrives, and is told they still cannot cash cheque. Wasted trip that wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't a pandemic. 2 stars only because front service woman is a professional. Manager should go. Can't help but think if I would help them meet their high cost (scam) mutual fund sales targets they would have cashed it. Oh well! Overall this would be a medium to large yikes of a review.

After moving into the area they expedited all my info, financial matters etc in a very helpful and efficient manner. Am looking forward to many years of dealing with them.

Takes hours to get through on the phone lines. All I wanted was a call regarding mutual funds. This is insane. :( i looked online, through the app and everything.

I am 18 years old and I went in to apply for a 500 dollar limit for a credit card and a auto loan, the financial advisor I talked too wouldn't apply for anything below a 2000 dollar limit, after both my loan and card were declined she now want's to apply for a 1000 dollar credit card, I will not be returning to this branch as they do not listen and aren't meeting my needs as a client.
