Railyard Dog Park

The Railyard Dog off-leash might just be one of the nicest off-leash parks I've ever been at... The area is fenced with gates to keep dogs and cars apart, and a 2nd inner fenced area to keep dogs and dogs apart ( if you choose ), well grass covered for dogs to romp about, paved pathways for 2 legged walkers, many waste receptacles for pickup deposits ... Bring water if a hot day, as there is no water tap in the park. Dogs are generally well behaved as are the owners, but dog off-leash are only as safe as the dogs in the area. Enjoy the off-leash, we do !!!

A paved path runs along the length of this park, with a couple loops, so it's easy to walk circles while your dog romps and plays. Fully fenced and bags provided for clean up. A mixture of trees and open spaces makes this a fun park for playing with your dog.

Best dog park we've ever visited. We stayed in Fernie as part of a holiday and came here everyday, sometimes twice a day! Thank you to all the volunteers that have made this place amazing. Only thing I would add in the future is a water station.

Has become overly popular of recent. Many many dogs and off leash however not all dogs friendly and have witnessed many dog fights including with our dog who was attacked viciously and unprovoked.

Just moved here, did a lap today. Great looking park.
