Mount Fernie Provincial Park

Such a beautiful spot to camp. We had a spot right by the creek. You could hear it the whole time in your site. At night the stars were out in full force. It was so beautiful. There are hiking trails right from the campsite and the campsite is only minutes from town. It's so peaceful and quiet. A great way to get away from it all.

Excellent provincial park. Good showers here that were very clean when we visited. There are numerous potable water taps throughout the park and a dish sink at the showers and bathrooms. The outhouses have been recently redone, so recent when we visited that they still smelled strongly of fresh ceder wood. The campsites are spread out reasonable far and well wooded. We stayed during the pandemic when only BC residents were supposed to be allowed, though 90% of the campers were from Alberta, but the park was so spacious there wasn't any worry about being too close to any other parties.

Great time spent at fernie provincial park! This is a beautiful park I really the heart of a cedar forest! Great sites that are clean with lots of space. Definitely stay here if you get a chance.

Great wooded camping. Well spaced sites with lots of trees. Double sites also available. Washrooms were clean and showers are available as well. Potable water and bear proof garbage and recycle bins nearby all sites. Camp staff will deliver firewood to your campsite. The fire pits are metal rings about 36" around and fairly deep, but not all have grills so bring your own. No power or water hookups.
