Rathtrevor Beach Campground

Wow! Great location and well deserved reviews. The tidal beaches are amazing and fun for the whole family. The restrooms are as clean as you get for outhouses, and a 5 minute walk to flush toilets and shower house. Easy check-in, checkout process for camping. Lots of neat little trails to explore and go for a hike. Easy to recommend.

We have camped here several times over the past 30 years. We have a tent trailer so the camping reservation website sent us to an area we had not been before. Three of the large day use parking areas have been converted to trailer/RV camping. Back- in sites have been defineded by split rail fences. Not many trees close to the sites for shade. Pretty open and not particularly private but the nature of RV's is that they are self-contained and most people are friendly but outside of their site. The upside is you are steps to the beach which is what we come here for. The beach never disappoints.

A staff member told my mother to use an out house with no running water instead of the washroom with running water, sink and soap to wash your hands. With covid 19 around its necessary to wash out hands

Rathtrevor Beach is so perfect and amazing and beautiful there and the camping is too perfect always.
