North Island Hospital Campbell River and District

The staff are wonderful & work very hard in difficult situations ... it is just too bad I can’t say the same for some of the drs! Last night I had the worst experience at this hospital ever! I was left in a solitude room for hours where I was only checked on every hour and a half ... I saw the dr twice in 6 hours! I was put in this room as they had no other place to put me but would mobbed me as soon as possible! Like never! The next time I go I will have to be vomiting blood as they don’t believe a word you’re telling them. I expect to be treated with dignity & respect!

I want to thank the third floor nurses, care aids, support staff & food services for their excellent care during my stay. Your ability to maintain an upbeat & friendly attitude under sometimes stressfull situations is refreshing!

Went for day surgery. I was nervious. As it's the first time I've been in the hospital for myself. The nurses there are the best. They took very good care of me they are sweet and extremely attentive. I always had a warm blanket and a friendly smile. I count thank them enough💕😊😊

New hospital is awesome. Staff is the best. Surgery went well and was very well cared for.

Was refused medication I came in with, was refused treatment, was refused consult with doctor and had security called on me everytime my pain got worse. Came in as an emergency and nurses didn't even check on me. They have made all symptoms worse and if you're waiting on your doctor they assign you, then he leaves town with no concern for you at all. They tell me I'm his patient but he's not even I. The city to deal with someone who is losing feeling in their legs and body. Worse treatment I've ever experienced and I will be taking legal action if I survive.
