I booked a phone consultation at 11:50AM today, and when I booked an appointment, the receptionist told me that I have to book a phone consultation before going in for a physical appointment. The doctor was supposed to call me, however, it has been more an hour and the doctor did not call me. I called the clinic twice already and the receptionist would always delay it saying the doctor will call me later. The second time I called the clinic, I could clearly hear the doctor's voice at the back to tell the receptionist to delay it, because she has appointment with other patients. So I cancelled the appointment and the receptionist seemed happy to hear that I cancelled it, I will not go to this clinic again. Terrible service, I do not recommend going to this clinic.

My wife went to see Doctor Gu for a deep thumb wart that she has had for a few years. Initially, he recommended a dermatologist. My wife went there twice and burned off a quarter of her thumb twice but with no good results. The dermatologist said he could not help her. She then went back to Doctor Gu and asked for alternative therapies and recommendations. He said that people come in all the time and get the same therapies of burning, cryo or laser which work. He was agitated at my wife for wanting an alternative. If your finger was partially burned off and the dermatologist said he cant do no more. He cant do no more. I'm sure the dermatologist is more specialized in this field than Doctor Gu. We searched online and an alternative was medicinal shots since the wart is deep inside. I do not recommend uncaring doctors like Doctor Gu at all. Not everything works for everyone and as a doctor, it is your job to find out what works. If you just want quick money, get easy diagnoses, and go home early, please don't work here. As a Canadian, you are supposed to truly care about people. As a doctor, you gave an oath to put patients first. I hope one day, Doctor Gu will remember that.

Dr.zhang is the rudest person I ever met in Vancouver. I had a phone appointment with her to discuss my recent pregnancy , I did not get any respect , or any support from her. She does not listen to me, I had a very hard time to communicate with her , instead she yelled at me on the phone ask me to find OB by myself, because my pregnancy has nothing to do with her . Please stay away with this place much as possible, u won't get any help from here.

Went to see Dr. Chan to discuss possibly getting some labs and exams about my physical health. As well as a digestive issue. Dr. Chen was super rude and started arguing with me about wanting to know more about my own health. He definitely is not a supportive doctor, is dismissive of your issues, and does not listen at all. I would not recommend anyone to see him. Rudest doctor I have ever spoken with.

If you're a softie and need a doctor who listens to your problems, then this isn't the place to be. The patient only went to her in the first place, due to the lack of female doctors who are fluent in Chinese. It's not worthwhile. Dr. Jennifer Zhang lacks bedside manners, where she possesses an aggressive demeanor and off-putting attitude, even towards a delicate senior patient from my household. It's important for practitioners to practice empathetic listening techniques, and that was missed by a longshot. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt where she's well-intentioned as a doctor; however, the way things are handled in this clinic has made the experience felt like a profit mongering one. Belligerence does not equate to assertiveness.
