Kids loved it, with many activities to do.
However it is one of those campgrounds that depending where you are the trailers are parked tightly together.
Fun area, closed off campground. Very francophone and crowded. If you want tranquility and relaxation, that is not the place. Loud music in the middle of the night. So go with adults who like to party. We got a tent far from the center so at least we could sleep well. Then walked 5 minutes to the center where there is a large fun park pool and junk food stands. I will go again with friends. Overall was really fun. Felt like I was in the 1990s when I had hair.
Great camping place for young family with kids. Kids will have unforgatable memories!
Good
Overall lovely campsite. However, several points disappointed us during our stay. Last week of August, so very little traffic. The snack bar was closed. Slips and "the Amazon" were also (we had only been told about slips). No one had informed us when booking that the toilets in front of our land would also be closed (we have a tent trailer) and the only open toilet block was far away. No kayak rental etc (pandemic requires). Despite everything, we were offered the full price of $ 60, still higher than most campsites. Regardless of the number of services, $ 60. When we wanted to buy beer at the convenience store (yes, as a camper, it happens 🙂) there was no more, we had to go to the neighboring village. Throughout our stay, the few children present were screaming at the top of their lungs from one end of the street to the other (I'm not saying that because I'm intolerant, on the contrary) or rummaging in the trash cans. All day long, small planes take off nearby, so it's noisy. They started the repair of the "Amazon" so noise of buffering all day. The lake opposite does not allow swimming and the place is not equipped with benches or other to rest there. In short, there are many negative points which, for us, lead us to cross out this campsite from our choices to become seasonal. During a wkd, with friends or family, in HIGH season, it's fine. Nothing more.
